BACKGROUND
In compliance with the requirements of Government Code Section 54972 (Maddy Act), the attached list of scheduled Town of San Anselmo Committee and Commission vacancies for the calendar year is posted on an annual basis by December 31. Staff also uses this list for recruitment planning and is requesting authorization to announce the impending term expirations for soliciting applications during this recruitment year.
FISCAL IMPACT
There would be no direct fiscal impact to the Town to approve this item.
CEQA AND CLIMATE ACTION PLAN CONSISTENCY
The proposed project is exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), under the “common sense” exemption, because it can be seen with certainty that there is no possibility that the activity in question may have a significant effect on the environment. (Cal. Code Regs. tit. 14, § 15061).
